Cards are special, unique things. When I was in Year 7, I found out me and this other girl had the same birthday. When that day finally came around, I was very surprised to discover that a friend of that girl had given me a birthday card as well as one for her friend, despite the fact that I wasn’t close with this girl.
I think it says something that 11 years later, I can still remember what that card looked like.
If you know someone who might not receive cards often, why not send them one?
