Hopefully you can relate

I joined a social media platform (I know, this intro comes just before a problem!) and came across this girl that I used to know at school. I knew her very well as I was in many of her classes for about three years. She was a really nice, friendly person, and helped me a lot in one class where we were seated next to each other. 

I sent her a message on this social media platform, basically asking how she was and thanking her for being so kind to me at school. 

She blocked me?! 

I was so confused. My sister said it might be because as I had such a small number of followers maybe my account looked suspicious, or maybe she thought I was trying to sell her something. But in the message I named the school and gave details only I would have known.

Anyway, I felt very upset about this as she’s so nice and I was worried I’d upset her, so I reached out to her on another social media platform. When she didn’t respond to that I actually sent her a letter, care of her university. I even (do I hear police sirens?) contacted her sister via the social media platform I’d initially found this person on, but to no avail.

I’ve finally (after three months) seen sense and realised I should probably stop contacting her before the police show up. But it still REALLY upsets me, and I know I’ll be wondering why she blocked me for the rest of my life (not good, I know!)
